Description

The LeFiell Single Rail System permits increased production and more efficient operation in a given floor area. The system has become widely adopted with operators reporting large increases in beef killed per day and in more efficient use of labor. It removes several operations from the half-hoist which is the bottle-neck of production in medium-sized plants, thereby permitting faster moving up of carcasses from the flooring position. The beef is picked up from the pritch plates, with the trolley hooks already in the shanks, by Single Rail Lander No. 1035-20, brought into position for rumping and eviscerating at the rumping hoist, then both trolleys are landed on the Single Rail Lander No 6004-25, pushed away to the point where the hide dropping is complete, thus clearing the landing point for the next carcass.
