Food Bank

LeFiell supports the Food Bank of Northern Nevada’s Back Pack Kids program, providing weekend meals for at-risk kids at  Desert Heights Elementary School, near the LeFiell headquarters in Stead.

NMA Scholarship Foundation

LeFiell is proud to administer and support the Edie Schmidt Memorial Scholarship through the National Meat Association Scholarship Foundation. Edie was LeFiell President Steve Schmidt's mother and very involved in philanthropic activities in the meat processing industry. The family business, Cincinnati Butcher Supply Co., was one of the most respected companies in the industry.
